Marie Crinnion is one of the original employees of METRO/RISK, and has been called upon to wear many hats in her position as Assistant Vice President of METRO/RISK.

Marie has account management responsibilities for American General Media, Sayers Computer Source, Fruit Growers Supply, Kivera, Inc., Target Marketing Communications and The State Bar of California.

In addition, she has developed special expertise in word-processing, spreadsheet and database computer applications and oversees all of the company's desktop publishing needs. She is responsible for the maintenance of client records, and is currently developing an integrated client database for the company. She is also involved in the development and design of proposals for both the San Francisco and Baltimore offices and orchestrates the planning of all METRO/RISK events and conferences.

Marie began her insurance career at Frank B. Hall & Co. of Northern California (later Aon Risk Services) as administrator of a nationwide insurance program for the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association. Working in conjunction with IT staff, she developed an automated computer program to serve existing clients and solicit new clients more efficiently.

Marie later joined Aon’s specialized Public Entity Division, with account management responsibilities for the Cities of Salinas and Monterey as well as public agency insurance pools such as the Independent Cities Risk Management Authority in southern California and the Cities and Villages Mutual Insurance Company in Wisconsin. She also handled all aspects of Aon’s participation in major risk management conferences for public entities.

Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stanford University. A native of San Francisco, this is Marie's 13th year as a weekly volunteer for Project Open Hand, Alameda/San Francisco, a local organization whose staff prepares and delivers hot meals daily to thousands of people with AIDS.
